Yea, you were exercising your first amendment rights. She had no right to lower your grade because of such exercising of a basic right of Americans. Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, Freedom of the Press, Freedom of Peaceably Assemble, and right to petition the government for a redress of grievances. You were well within your rights to make such a movie. Your teacher is just being a frickin' hard-ass about it.
She needs to re-learn US History if you ask me.
